I was born and raised in Mexico City in 1967 where I studied sculpture at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts "La Esmeralda" of the National Fine Arts Institute of Mexico graduating in 1992. In 1993 I immigrated to Los Angeles, CA where I currently live and work.

Although my art background is in sculpture, over the years I've explored different mediums to express my ideas there fore creating large thematic installations.

I use my art work as a method for healing personal life experiences.
